Cracked screen from putting it into skeleton case

I bought a hero 7 black in December, this is my first time using it though, I had the skeleton case mounted on my motorcycle and went to place the GoPro in the case pushing it in with gloves on which I don't know how else you are supposed to load it in without putting pressure on the back of the go pro and I barely used any at all and it cracked the screen. Is this covered by warranty or considered accidental even though it was not dropped or abused in anyway.

Accidents do happen and  the warranty will cover certain things. if one  can find the info of warranty  see below or see link

the  sentence here says: not covered in bold.  so what you may do is  take a photo get the bill of sale and call or chat to a CSA and see what they can determine.  As I  read the warranty myself again I still call GoPro and  they may simply under a good faith act replace with no question and make you a Cusomer?

 

I the next time   take the gloves off and not push dead center on glass always the edging on the camera, the strongest spot deadcenter is the weakest area.

It actually was pressed in from the side. The skeleton case seems to be a tight fit. The camera seems awfully fragile for an action camera.
