Connecting to go pro app

I purchased a new go pro hero 5 and on my phone or says connected but on the hero 5 it keeps failing to connect

Thank you for the details you provided.  Same here. I've seen in videos that there should be a continue button in the app. but below step 3 (select GOPRO APP to see your camera's ID and password) I never see the blue button.


I'm connected via WiFi and paired with Bluetooth on a Moto G5+

Update - My cam connects on a Moto G4Plus and NOT on a Moto G5Plus.
