Clip audio fades in - how to turn that off?

All of my GoPro 5 Black clips have audio that "fades in" - why is that? It's very frustrating and I can't seem to turn that off...

 

In other words, when the clip starts playing, the audio level is 0, and fades in to normal over a few seconds...

 

Any thoughts?

Not an issue it is quite Normal for gopro to d othat and it is the part of the audio issue all has had since day one?   With QIkcapture on tht will cxause an up to 5 second fade in.  so in order to ficx or correct an issue  that  hardely anyone complains about will be to disable qukcapture ( it's spelled Quick capture) ( how gopro calls it lol)  or to simply  waste five seconds of clip. your choice?

 

 Main question is no one complains about this with the newest Hero 6 so it must be Us Lol.  good luck

I didn 't even realize I was using Quick Capture - whatever that is...

 

Do you know how to disable it?

Have the very same issue with my Hero 6. Every clip the audio fades-in and it takes a few seconds for the audio to adjust.

I have tried with a few different players and can confirm it's not the software by how the camera records.

I also treid the newly released hero6 software update 1.6, but the results are the same.

 

Any suggestions ?

Turn off quick capture - that worked for me.

Thanks for the advise.

Just tried and switched off quick capture. Same results - the audio fades in and is fully there only after 3sec of recording.

Wekk that is not good  maybe us hero 5's have the better on this one only Lol  sorry to hear that.
