Choppy playback

Hello, I just got a Hero 4 black and am having playback issues. The vids for this playback choppy, the sound is OK.  I downloaded the VLC player and at it's slowest speed it is still choppy.   I am running a PC with Windows 7, I exported the vid to You Tube and it is ok.  Vids from my other camera, a point and shoot Olympus work ok.  I'm guessing the problem lies with both of my computers this desktop and a laptop that are running Windows 7.  Is this possibly a program upgrade or do I probably have to take it to a shop for some kind of upgrade there?  Thanks for any help you may offer and by the way, I'm loving my gopro.....

Re: Choppy playback

Hi @greendusk80081,

It does sound like you have gone through some of these steps but I would check them out again:

https://gopro.com/help/articles/How_To/How-to-Correct-Choppy-or-Broken-Up-Playback

It most likely due to a hardware limitation but one way to make sure is to try another computer that does meet the required specs.

Best,

Ryan
