Childish problems: The Clock & The Orientation

(1) Everytime the empty battery is swapped out for a full battery, my Hero 7 Black forgets the time and date. I have to enter that again in the menu. This really sucks. Can GoPro puts a small capacitor to guard the clock for a few seconds during battery swap?

(2) People, look at the time stamp on the file creation. It does not correspond to the system time on the Hero 7. Then why bother entering the time in the first place?

(3) This is an action camera. Sometimes, the camera attached to an aircraft or a snowboard may go upside down, the image needs not flipping. The camera shouldn't change the orientation. GoPro needs to add an "Orientation Lock" feature.

Re: Childish problems: The Clock & The Orientation

Hi,

1 - It's an old problem. The Hero5 have this problem. Very strange things. Always need to connect with my iPhone gopro app->sync time.

3- I think the cam have an option to on/off the lock auto orientation. Somewhere in the menu. Check from phone, its easier.
