Charging and recording at the same time with gopro hero8 black? [ New ]

Is it possible to charge and record at the same time? 
How can I do? If I start recording my GoPro stop to charge itself.

If you want to record while plugged into a power supply, simply remove the internal battery first.  That way your GoPro will continue to record as long as external power is supplied.

Hello, @iamdenismoino. The battery does not get charged when the camera is recording, even if the camera is connected directly to a power source. This is just how the camera works. Charging of the battery resumes when the recording stops.

Yes, you can, @iamdenismoino. As Irishman mentioned above, the camera will continue to record as long as it is connected to a power source.

Removing the battery while recording for an extended period of time also helps control camera temperature by providing more space for heat to dissipate. Make sure though that the camera is protected from any possible water/dust/dirt damage as the charging port will be left open while the camera is connected to an external power source.
