Cannot connect Max to Quik App..? [ New ]

This is on a Samsung Galaxy S4 (I know, an old phone). Regardless, connection speed is set to the 2.4 GHz option, on the camera, and the phone's WiFi is on..

What am I missing?

Non-360 files shot on MAX should be recognized by Quik for desktop.

If the camera is not being detected, please go over the steps on Camera is Not Recognized on Quik for desktop - Mac

Also, yes, WiFi is enabled on the camera, as well.

If im not wrong the gopro max can connect just to the gopro app, which requires nougat (android 7) or more.

But wait for some expert's answer

Thank you for the response, I figured it was the phone. No worries there, though the desktop app is the bigger concern as my pc meets system requirements and yet the desktop app is still giving me a slew of issues. Such as not recognizing the camera's media, and saying that the firmware is up to date when the camera prompts me otherwise to update it... The app doesn't even know which firmware version is on the camera now.

If an administrator can comment on that, I would appreciate it.
