My Hero+ will not allow me to activate WiFi. This is a recent issue, as it was working well previously. Don't recall if the issue coincides with any updates to the camera or other related software.
Originally, it simply refused to select "Existing" remote/app. I reset the WiFi, but the camera will not go into pairing mode or allow me to select "GoPro App" when trying to create re-pair/connect.
I highlight these options but when I press the shutter button, nothing happens.
So far: Reset WiFi, manually updated firmware, reformatted SD card, tried without SD card

This is definitely odd behavior for the camera, as going into the settings and trying to add a New camera for the GoPro App should've allowed you to start the pairing process.
I see that you said you've already performed a manual update for the camera? After doing the update, does the pairing process still refuse to work?

Looking the comments I have run into similar issues. I cannot connect to Wifi and i can't select the APP/RC button. Everything else seems to be ok. I can change the settings on my camera and take photos and videos i just cannot select the Wifi button. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know.
