I bought my brand new GoPro Hero 7 Silver today, brought it home, SD card is in, it has charge. I downloaded the app to my up-to-date iPhone 7, and I am having troubles connecting the two.
It finds the camera okay, but when it tries to connect, the message "Lost Connection to GoPro" appears. It tells me to "Turn the camera off and on, and to make sure my camera is ready to pair" however I have done this, as well as erase and reinstall the app from my phone. The camera is still in initial setup so this shouldn't be an issue. Is my camera faulty?

Sorry to hear you're having camera issues, @sunnyshore18445. Open the following link on a computer web browser and run through the manual update on your HERO7 Silver - https://gopro.com/update. Once it's fully updated, you should be able to connect to the GoPro app and use it as normal. Let us know how it goes. Thanks!
