Can the Hero7 Black camera be updated with current date/time and maintain the accurate date/time on the recorded file? I am considering upgrading my Hero4 with a new camera but it is absolutely imperative that I be able to set the date/time on the camera and have the video file stamped with the accurate date/time. I am not necessarily looking for the date/time stamp to be imprinted on the actual video, although that would be a feature that would be incredibly valuable to me and many others in the user community.

@wildturkeyway, you will be able to set the camera's date and time from the settings menu. The footage will keep whatever date and time is set in the camera.
Other than on-camera setup of date and time, I personally like to use the GoPro App to set my date/time so it is in synchronized with my phone. I believe that the date/time is also set automatically to your computer's date/time when you connect the camera to the Quik for Desktop app.
If you're having some issues on the date and time stamp on your camera, you may try reinstalling the firmware update of the camera can help correct any errors with the current software installation. Follow the manual update instructions specified on this article: https://gopro.com/help/articles/block/How-to-Update-GoPro-Cameras
Anyhow, your suggestion about the date and time imprint on the video is very much appreciated. I'll pass this along to our team.
