Can't update software for my Hero. [ New ]

As I don't kniow what Hero I have, I can't update software manually. The automatic update, by connecting camera to PC doesn't work

This will show you how to identify your camera and get the serial number (for a manual update) by using the info stored on your camera's SD card.

• Find the number in the version.txt file, located in the MISC folder on any SD card that has been used in the camera. 

The SD card will contain the software version, your camera's serial number and the type of camera you have.

I can´t see any serialnumber, except for the firmware. See attached txt-file. Oh, couldn't attach txt-file.

hola buenos dias , si pones actualizar en esta pagina , te dira de descargar el programa en el mobil. no lo hagas asi a mi me dio problemas las camara y se quedaba colgada y varios problemas de bateria. 

saca la tarjeta de la camara gopro y metela al ordenador con algun adaptador 

descargate el zip (comprimido ) de la pagina de descargar de esta pagina ( tendras que haber puesto el num de serie de la camara)

crea una carpeta llamada UPDATE en la raiz de la tarjeta de memoria , ponla en la camara y enciendela y ya sta se empieza a actualizar solo
