I have the 7 white. It speciafally says water proof up to 33ft. I was filming my nephew swimming for the first time. I had the camera in the pool with me. deepest part is 4 ft 5 in . It went underwater once. The lcd dont work. water coming out the sound inlets. water insde where the charge port is and the sd card soaking wet. it was in its case and sealed and still soaking wet. wtf do i do now @??? plz help.

First things first RICE it quickly. and take everything OFF and out. do not even turn it on at all at least a few days. You can call or chat with gopro. and see what they say. fresh water is a lot better then salt water to revive

Sorry to hear about what happened, @extrememedium. This is definitely not an experience that we would like you to have. So long as the camera's side door is properly closed, the HERO7 White is waterproof down to 10m (33ft) without a housing.

Thank you. i just took the sd card out. It is in a bowl of rice and window is unlocked for the people to come over night and fix it. lol its just frusterating. 250 dollar camera should be able to do what it says it can do but i am doing the rice thing and sitting there for a bit.

i jist put the sd card into the micro sd card and it loaded right up. least i didnt lose my videos of the little man. wow its making noise in the rice bowl. so i guess it works just no power to lcd lol . i think it just turned off. and MR go pro. ill call in a minute here. or maybe i can return it back to target and get new one.
