Camera inoperative during second use

During second use of camera I received a SD card corrupt warning; then the camera quit working. I checked battery made sure battery was fully charged and tried again did same with second battery plus a new SD card. Still did not work. I then tried a direct hook up to power - still did not work. No power light in any of the tries. Request GoPro advise as to my options on the $375 purchase.

Re: Camera inoperative during second use

Hi @fastcookie,

Please check if the SD card you're using is a recommended SD card for your camera.

If your SD card is on the list, please install new camera firmware then that should fix the problem.

Re: Camera inoperative during second use

Hi Jay. Problem is that the camera has not been able to be turned on. I have even tried holding the pwr button
For more than ten seconds.

Checked SD card, according to the list, it is compatible. The camera will not turn on with freshly changed battery or direct pwr hook up.

Re: Camera inoperative during second use

I reached out to GoPro information people and after a lengthy discussion it was decided that I was to send my camera in to GoPro and they will be sending me a Replacement. However, I would be very interested in knowing what was the reason that the camera cannot be turned on.
