Camera died scuba diving at 5.8m

Camera is supposed to be capable of depths of 10m without housing.
I dived to 8m, both the camera buttons depressed and became unresponsive, I came back to the surface, works again but constantly messing around. £350 for this and its absolute rubbish! Only had it 9days. I will never ever by gopro again

Re: Camera died scuba diving at 5.8m

Hi @alertlight67730

So long as all camera doors are closed, the HERO7 Black is waterproof down to 10m (33ft) without a housing.
While water damage is usually not covered by the warranty, let our Support Team take a look at what happened.
You may reach out to them by phone or chat. https://gopro.com/help/ContactUs

Thanks!

Ej
