I purchased this camera (GoPro HERO7 Silver - Waterproof Digital Action Camera with Touch Screen 4K HD Video 10MP Photos) - https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07GDGZCCJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) at the end of May 2019. We have used it on 4 occassions whilst on vacation and we have not been happy with the camera at all. Firstly we find it difficult to use. The touch screen doesn't always respond to our touch actions and the connection to the phone always disconnects.
Secondly, the camera freezes every time we try to use it. We have to hold down the button for more than 10 seconds so that it then reboots.
Thirdly the battery life is far too short. I barely get a couple of hours. And that is in he summer. As the Camera has an internal battery then I can't charge it when we are on the move and so it often is a waste of time to take it.
In summary, we are not happy with the GoPro. We have tried to get on with it as best we can however my wife returned from a quick biking tour in AZ and said she could only use it a few time for all the reasons above.
We purchased it through Amazon and so we are unsure what the process is to return it. If you beleive this product is faulty, or that we would be better with a different version then I am happy to exchange. However if this is the general expereince with a GoPro then we will return it and ask for our money back.
I appreciate that it is past the 30 days, but that would not have been time to experience the issues with the freezing camera and the short battery life as we used it for the first time while on vacation in Italy.
We hope your company values customer feedback. We are in the market for this kind of camera, but this one simply is not a good fit for us as it is a) falutky and b) difficult to use.

This is a member to member support community. If you want to return the camera, you need to go through Amazon. GoPro can't give you back money they never received from you.
Steps you can take to trouble shoot are:
Make sure you are using a SD card from this list
Try a different SD card from the list
Factory Reset the Camera (Preferences>Reset>Factory Reset
Perform a Full (not quick) format of your card in your computer followed by a format in the camera
Download and install the manual update
