Broken speaker

I bought GoPro certified refurbished GoPro hero 5 and the speaker has not worked at all since receiving it. The camera startup beeps and the video playback audio does not play. I made sure that all volume was turned up and beeps were on max volume. I’ve also tried factory resetting the GoPro but it’s not working. Anyone else had this problem or knows how to fix it?

@epicjump16637 - Do the files play with audio when played on your computer? I'm trying to see if the issue is with the camera or the files themselves.

 

If they do play with audio when played on your computer, then your best option is going to be to contact our Support team directly at https://gopro.com/help/ContactUs so we can troubleshoot the issues with you.

Thanks for the help. It was in fact a hardware problem and I’ve exchanged for a new one
