Blue and purple lines on my screen Hero 7 silver
[ New ]
I just bought my new Hero 7 silver and following the instructions I downloaded the latest update through the app on my mobile. After that the screen when I take video shows blue and purple horizontal lines. Anyone else had the same problem? I’m disappointed. It s brand new!!! Thanx for any answer

I would do a manual update.
The trouble shooting steps are as follows:
1) Ensure that you are using an appropriate SD card https://gopro.com/help/articles/block/microSD-Card-Considerations
2) Perform a factory reset of the camera (Preferences>Reset>factory reset
3) Perform a FULL (not quick) format of the SD card in your computer
4) Download the Manual Firmware update (Extract the UPDATE folder from the UPDATE.zip file. Copy the UPDATE folder to the SD card. Eject and place the card in your camera. Turn camera on using the side Mode/Power Button) https://gopro.com/update/hero7-silver
5) Format the SD card in the camera (Preferences>Reset>Format SD
6) Factory Reset the camera again
7) If the above steps don't correct the issue, contact the GoPro Support Team https://gopro.com/help/ContactUs
Best of luck. I hope you get it working soon.

Haven't seen that personally. What SD card are you using (make/model/size)?
Have you tried running a manual update? https://gopro.com/update/hero7-silver

Thank you Daniel for your immediate response. The truth is that my card is from my Hero 3, so 4 years old. Probably that a the problem. With a new card I must do the update again, Wright??
