Black hole fix gopro fusion

GoPro Fusion. After editing a video on Premiere Pro my video has a black hole on top and the bottom. Any settings fix this?

Re: Black hole fix gopro fusion

What are your export settings in Fusion Studio and are you using the GoPro vr pluggins? If you view the video exported from Fusion Studio in the GoPro vr app, do the black holes appear?

Re: Black hole fix gopro fusion

Hey Daniel.
After exporting from fusion studio they are not there. I export- edit, 4K, parallax on.

After editing and exporting in premiere pro I get the black holes. I export in something like the H.26 thing

In that case I have seen a similar post before with this issue.  I cannot remember if the guy had to end up re-installing Premier Pro to fix it or if he had to update his graphics card drivers.  If you hunt around on the forum, you may find the post, it was quite a while back.  I'll do a search this evening and see if I can find it, but as far as I remember, he did end up getting it resolved.

Having the same issue. I've tried exporting in various resolutions but no change.

Does anyone have a fix for this?

Re: Black hole fix gopro fusion

Have you tried updating or reinstalling your graphic drivers, and have you tried uninstalling and re-installing Adobe Premier Pro?

Frankly I remember reading about this and the footage was exported from GoPro Fusion Studio just fine, it was only when it was imported into Premier Pro that the black dots were visible.  This was due to the sequence being incorrectly auto detected by Premier Pro.  So the resolution was incorrect when the video was wrapped into a 360 degree sphere leading to these circular gaps.

When you set up the sequence, are you just dragging the footage directly into premier pro and onto the timeline thus allowing it to set up the sequence settings itself?  Or are you settings the sequence paramaters yourself and then importing the footage?  I

In my case I'm using Davinci Resolve 16 but simailr holes in top and bottom. I've treid letting it reset res and I'd tried setting res manually about 5 different export sizes. Nothing has worked yet.

Re: Black hole fix gopro fusion

It's a limitation to using the free version of DaVinci (which limits the resolution available for timeline) and Reframe360 (still in Beta).
