Black Image JPG & Video visual feedback
[ New ]Took some pictures with my Hero 8 Black. They ended up showing up as a black image on the gopro and on my laptop.
Is there any way to recover the JPG files?
The videos I took were all able to be previewed on the gopro and my laptop. The videos did have some visual feedback.
It has been half a day since the original pictures were taken. When I take them now they are visible in the library.
Anyone has this problem too?

Re: Black Image JPG & Video visual feedback
[ New ]@megatree30686, sorry to hear about the trouble. You mentioned that the issue is visible even when directly playing back or previewing the footage in the camera. Does it happen to all photos and videos? If only specific ones are affected, are these videos captured using high-resolution settings?
Make sure that a recommended SD card is used for your camera. To prevent this from happening, reinstalling the firmware update of the camera can help correct any errors with the current software installation.
