I am having trouble getting the auto upload feature on my Hero (2018) to work. I have set everything up according to the directions, it says my home wifi is connected, it's plugged in and charged to full, 16GB memory card is less than 50% full, yet it's still not uploading. Is there a settting that I am missing?

Please try to re-configure the auto upload.
Reset the connection on your camera and pair it on your phone.
After that setup auto upload and check if that will now work.
You may contact our customer support team via phone or chat so that they can assist you on setting it up.

I'm also having trouble with this issue. Customer service has been worthless. What I've determined is that my files are too large, even when plugged in overnight and neither the camera or my phone are in use. I use the GoPro to record my daughter's volleyball games. I used a Session 5 in the fall for her school games, and the files uploaded fine. However, I had to exchange the camera because it would overheat while recording. Now, I have a Hero 7 Black. It records great, but the files won't upload. I've noticed that each clip is so large, they're GB, not MB. I record the same way I did during school season - I pause recording during timeouts. It must be that I've been recording in 4K as opposed to 2.7K like I used to with the Session 5. I've adjusted some of the settings, and will see if it gets any easier after her next club season tournament.
