Re: Audio output

Is the camera on its own or is it with a Media Mod?
What SD card are you using?
Where are you playing the files back?
Does the same happen when files are played back on the camera, computer, or a phone?
See if resetting the camera will help.
If it's still the same, try a manual update. https://gopro.com/en/us/update/hero8-black
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!

Re: Audio output
[ New ]The camera is without a media mod.
The SD card used is a samsung memory card with 128 gb space.
Upon playin it on go pro, there is little to no output, but then after its transferred to the mobile phone or computer,it works.

how are you holding the camera, when recording there are only one stereo mic on the side, very easy to block and cause muting or lowered sound. Bestto post for gopro a youtube sample.
For the profile open one go down to the area you see Wind, Stereo , Auto that is the actual mic controls, where you see stereo N/A let gopro rep explain it to you.
