Audible beeps

I have noticed the beeps are very low even though I have it set to High.  Battery does have a full charge. This is brand new.  Received as Xmas gift.  Also, when I say, "GoPro, take a photo."  It shuts off.  Not all the time but has happened a few times now.  Anyone else experience this?

Do you know what version of firmware you are running on that camera? Also What SD Card are you using?

 

I would recommend manually updating that camera to see if we can get that resolved:
