Application gopro android

[ New ]

Bonjour,

Hi @jmmlandivisiau

Once the Wi-Fi information has been reset, it should be giving you a Bluetooth PIN when you try to pair it again.

Since the it is still asking for a password, there's a chance that the reset was not successful.

Kindly try the following steps:

  1. Turn the camera ON.
  2. Press the mode button repeatedly on front of the camera until “Set Up” appears on the screen.
  3. Select the red shutter button on top of the camera.
  4. Press the mode button repeatedly on front of the camera until “Reset Cam” is highlighted.
  5. Press the mode button to select “Reset Wi-Fi”
  6. Press the shutter button to select
  7. Press the mode button to select “Reset”
  8. Press the shutter button

Put the camera and the app on pairing mode, then follow the on screen instructions.

You may need to forget the Wi-Fi name and the Bluetooth ID on your phone's connection settings.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks!

Ej

Thanks for getting back to us @jmmlandivisiau

I have just tried the steps with a HERO4 Black and was able to pair the camera via the Bluetooth PIN.

The app prompted me to set up a new Wi-Fi name and password.

On your end, if this is not the case, please reach out to our Support Team for further assistance.

They are available via phone or chat.
