I noticed that the time is off by 4 hours in the video files meta data.
However the photo files have the correct time.
I am using a GP7 black with the latest firmware.
How can this be corrected?

in GoPro menu there is nothing related to the TimeZone.
if a time/date is there set, it is an absolute one, not related to a time zone.
so, a local time correct 13:57 (but is CET in my case), will appear in MetaData as "UTC 13:57" ... see below.
just because of the lack of timezone.
Windows read a "taken" local time for photo and none fot video
I see a workaround to set the UTC time in GoPro instead of the local one.

... what I would expect is: the camera has GPS...GPS has time (stratum one rated synchronization source)...why don't GPS cip read the right time and stamp the recordings?
just me...the little evil robert

one of the workaround is:
- set in the camera the UTC time instead of local time.
video will have now UTC + time as metadata, so any device will translate this corectly to local corect time.
photo will have UTC time, so no local.
