Someone (who tried, and has self experience) can tell me what is the recording time in 4k for GoPro hero 7 silver?
For me it's only ~20min after it the camera is overhited and disable 4k recording. I tried 3 camera and all has this issue.
What is with yours?

I found already this page, and does not help.
I have this issue with 3 different silver camera... (the support replaced my camera [2 times] because of this issue, but the replaced have the same problem)
I think this is a serial bug. (all tried sd card is on the supported list, device full charged, sd cards formatted many times [quick and full both], manual update done many times, all plus features are turned off)
Can you share with me a video about your tests, which shows that this camera (hero 7 silver) really can record 106 min, continously a 4k video without overheating?
Becasue for me it seems now like a big scam...

@lászlóv58Jun, when using 2.7K and higher resolutions, and/or frame rates above 60fps, it is normal for the camera to become warm and use more power when using these modes. Lack of airflow around the camera and using the camera with the GoPro App can also increase camera temperature and power consumption, and decreases camera recording time.
You can check this article https://gopro.com/help/articles/block/hero7-battery-information for the full list of estimated continuous recording time of the HERO7 cameras.
If your camera is getting a run time that is significantly shorter than the expected battery life, despite you using a recommended SD card https://gopro.com/help/articles/block/microSD-Card-Considerations and the camera being updated to the latest firmware version, you may perform a short record time test through the instructions here https://gopro.com/help/articles/solutions_troubleshooting/Short-Record-Times.
