2 GoPros with waterdamage

Last year around this time, July, my GoPro Hero 5 Black got water damage. Now, just swimming in a lake, my GoPro Hero 7 Black sizzles when I put a battery in and the red light is continously on when the battery is in. From my last experience with my Hero 5 I know that water damage is not covered by GoPro, so I bought the waterproof case. In hopes the GoPro will function normally, and I will use the case with my Hero 7.

 

Thanks GoPro for not 1, but 2 devices that got water damage from just being on the surface of the water.

Sorry to hear about what happened. So long as all camera doors are closed, the HERO5 Black and HERO7 Black are waterproof down to 10m (33ft) without housing.
