2.7k and 4k looking grainy and choppy.

I have had my gopro 4 silver for a while. I use it to vlog indoors for a YT channel. Ive always used 1080 but always thought it diodnt look super great indoors. I tried using 2.7 and 4k. I have a sansdisk 64mb extreme. I have the correct card for shooting 4k. When I play back in Imovie it looks grainy and choppy. Anyone else have this issue??

Those are all hero 5 settings.. I have a 4 silver. A lot of those features are not on my camera. All Im trting to figure out is if my camera is broke or if I simply do not know how to set it..
