https://youtu.be/u6nWn8vZzVk

To help prevent the EIS from automatically turning off, you can set the MAX ISO to a higher level (3200+). Setting the MIN and MAX ISO to the same level also seems to help, so if you want to stick with 1600 or even 800, having both MIN and MAX at that value is best, but wont allow the camera to adjust to a lower ISO in brighter conditions.  While you will get a noisier image, it will allow for more light to be recorded through the sensor. Also, always use the lowest fps (24 or 30) in low light. Max the ev to +2, use a flat color profile, and set the sharpness to low.

@civicfun

Stabilization reduces automatically in low light to avoid blur and warping.  The best way to maintain stabilization at night is to use the Karma Grip.

To understand more about how EIS works in low light, you can read this article regarding the HERO7 Black Hypersmooth stabilization at night. https://gopro.com/news/hero7-black-hypersmooth-lowlight-update

FYI: Setting the shutter to 3x the frame rate will assist the stabilization; however it usually results in an image that is too dark.

if you are referring to your Stride/strut, you will need to control the way you are walking and holding, a gimbal may improve that   to mych left and right  panning.  slow things down.

  slow the footage by some not a lot that may improve the   shake you got.

for the video settings of clearity, protunes must be used and how you set up for clear shots,  for your shakiness it's all control.  good luck.
